Things I May or May Not Want for Christmas
Notice how I did not say need
.
(1) Coffee maker
Either this or $2 a day at the local coffee shop. I think that’s an easy sell.

(2) Countertop compost bucket
Yes, I’m a hippie like that.

(3) Glee soundtrack
For obvious reasons, including “Defying Gravity” + “Somebody to Love.” (If you don’t what I am talking about, YouTube it!)

(4) Mini food processor
Because the big ones are hella expensive.

(5) Digital converter box
If I get one, I will no longer have to watch Glee on Hulu.

(6) A voice like Kristin Chenoweth’s.
Because she played the original Glinda.

(7) Samantha Brown’s job.
I swear I will go anywhere and do anything – sign my life away if I need to!

(8) Jake Gyllenhaal
Because Reese is no longer in the picture, and The Healthy Everythingtarian is.

(9) My $8 I spent seeing the movie Vanilla Sky in the movie theater nine years ago.
Worst. Movie. Ever.

(10) But what I REALLY want (and need) is to raise that $1000 to build a well in Cambodia.
We are at $480! So, if you feel so inclined, head over here and donate!

Because what we all really need this Christmas is this…

What’s on your Christmas or holiday list this year? Share the love!

Do you think I could also get the three hours of my life I spent watching that movie back too?
December 8th, 2009 at 8:36 pm

I have this for a) http://www.keurig.com/officecoffee/b130deskpro.asp?mscsid=RJTVNHXHMDR38JFCW9TW1PWAQNVV8N1E
You can probably score one on sale between christmas and new years and it’s pretty perfect.
December 8th, 2009 at 8:49 pm
I am obsessed with Kristen Chenowith!! Also, LOVE my mini food processor. I use it almost everyday.
December 8th, 2009 at 8:50 pm
There is one thing on my list… MONEY! Haha.
December 8th, 2009 at 8:50 pm
i utterly and completely agree with jake gyllenhaal, my dear
December 8th, 2009 at 8:52 pm
Girl, if you email me your address, I will burn you a copy of the Glee soundtrack!
December 8th, 2009 at 8:53 pm
Haha! I LOVE your comment about “Vanilla Sky”. I feel the same way.
December 8th, 2009 at 9:18 pm
i will take number 8 please!
December 8th, 2009 at 9:31 pm
All I want for Christmas this year is some nice, relaxing days with the family… I totally think you NEED #1!!! But that’s because I have a slight addiction to coffee (which I’m sort of working on…).
December 8th, 2009 at 9:49 pm
You guys are all crazy, Vanilla Sky was awesome!!!
December 8th, 2009 at 9:50 pm
But then again, I also LOVED Glitter…
December 8th, 2009 at 9:52 pm
Love Kristin Chenoweth!
A mini food processor is on my wishlist too. Not only is it cheaper, but it is a lot easier to clean!
December 8th, 2009 at 9:57 pm
number 3.. do they really have a soundtrack? and i want a min food processor too!! love this list!
December 8th, 2009 at 10:23 pm
great xmas list!
but what is a Digital converter box? I feel out of the loop….
December 8th, 2009 at 10:24 pm
hah I laughed out loud at your list! Vanilla Sky is up there with the worst!
I think it is a beautiful thing you are doing to raise the funds for a well in Cambodia and would love to donate to your cause. It is such a tragedy that people in America don’t realize the water situation in 3rd world countries and the danger it is to children.
December 8th, 2009 at 10:40 pm
The in-laws are taking Meek and I to Mexico (with his whole fam) – so I can’t really ask for more! Well, I can….I want a spirlaizer. To make zucchini noodles. Other than that…I can’t think of a thing!.
December 8th, 2009 at 10:44 pm
Dont buy the mini food proc. Go big or go home girl. Those mini’s are notorious for 2-3 mos and motor blowage. Dont do it! Compost bucket…love it!
On my list. Something that I want but won’t get b/c I think it’s a bit ridic is a massive altar room type centerpiece…basically a huge shrine for yoga statues and such. But so big and not really a necessary thing “this month” LOL
December 8th, 2009 at 10:57 pm
hahah i realy enjoyed your $8 movie ticket wish.
So true. So true.
And what is this about Reese & Jake?? I didn’t know it was true! Breaks my heart. Poor little heart.
I also love how half your wish list revolves around Wicked & Glee. Love.
December 9th, 2009 at 12:03 am
Seriously, WTF was the deal with Vanilla Sky? I think that was my first clue that old Tom didn’t have it all together.
I have Glee, you know. I might just have a blank CD and a stamp lying around here too…
December 9th, 2009 at 12:31 am
shit i forgot to link back. i am going to edit my post now! thanks for the reminder. oh and i agree about vanilla sky!
December 9th, 2009 at 3:07 am
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Wicked! Wicked! Wicked! Let us all start singing the songs
Because of you I’m going to spend the rest of the day singing ‘Defying Gravity’
Ditto on Travel Channel and Vanilla Sky (and if possible i’d also like my TIME back for that one – how dissapointing can a film be?)
Love you!
P.S. Alexia kadhim – the REAL elphaba (she is so much better than Kerry Ellis
)
December 9th, 2009 at 5:24 am
Bahaha, Vanilla Sky really IS the worst movie ever. If the Travel Channel was smart they’d have a reality show looking for their next host – and you would win
All I asked for this Christmas was a camera. Mine is old and about to croak at any minute now. I’m hoping to get a new one before that happens!
December 9th, 2009 at 6:14 am
Not the best movie, but I didn’t mind eyeing up Tom Cruise.
Glee is coming to the UK so now I can see what all the fuss is about
December 9th, 2009 at 7:08 am
Ha great list!
Tomorrow I pick 3 Zevia Giveaway WINNERS – http://katiechangesforkatie.blogspot.com/
December 9th, 2009 at 7:33 am
Love your list
Especially Glee, Wicked and the coffee mashine. Awesome taste, girl.
On my list… I have no idea. I haven’t thought about it this year! (or anyone else’s gift- maybe I should ask to have my brain back?!)
December 9th, 2009 at 7:47 am
Girl, I’m still waiting on the $8 I spent on “4 Christmases” last year.
Great list!
December 9th, 2009 at 7:48 am
hahahhaha this is an awesome list. My favorite additions are the money back for Vanilla Sky and Jake Gyllenhaal.
December 9th, 2009 at 8:45 am
If you want a copy of Glee I would be happy to make one for you
I want cute serving dishes, new placemats and napkins.
December 9th, 2009 at 8:45 am
I want to get an A in Anatomy for Christmas
But, I would love a french press too.
December 9th, 2009 at 8:51 am
Keep the travel show dream alive, lady! I believe you can do it.
December 9th, 2009 at 8:55 am
Love the list! A coffee maker is a necessity!! Jake Gyllenhaal? Well, he can be 2nd to the coffee maker
December 9th, 2009 at 9:40 am
My sister has the soundtrack and I listened to it over Thanksgiving – it’s awesome! I need a food processor, too!
If you get that gig on the Travel Channel, you know I’ll be watching.
December 9th, 2009 at 9:50 am
I wish I could give you Jakey!
Just watched the Glee episode with Kristin Chenowith. LOVE.
December 9th, 2009 at 10:05 am
I looove my some KChen! I saw her in “Wicked” on Broadway – amahzing haha. For Christmas this year, I want to be done with finals and home, home on the range.
December 9th, 2009 at 10:23 am
That mini food processor is adorable. I need one of those as well!
I asked for clothes. But I don’t really know what I want or need, so it is more like a guessing game for those who are buying for me.
December 9th, 2009 at 12:09 pm
I like your Christmas Wish List…
I personally think you’d be perfect for the Travel Channel.
Oh, and I’m in love with that countertop compost bucket!!!
December 9th, 2009 at 12:19 pm
Wow, you are a girl after my own heart.
Glee, Kristen Chenoweth… that adorable compost bucket! My favorite 2 favroite things EVER! Well, maybe not the bucket, but it is really nice
December 9th, 2009 at 12:41 pm
DYING over Vanilla Sky $8 – ROFL!
We have an extra counter compost (stainless) but I’m not going to the post office until the Xmas madness is over. Hope Santa brings you the wood one!
December 9th, 2009 at 1:02 pm
Missed you girl! Great list
~Justine
December 9th, 2009 at 1:24 pm

& how amazing is all this snow we got!??!
December 9th, 2009 at 1:39 pm
Aww, Holly, how do you always manage to be sweet, sincere, funny, and thoughtful all at the same time? It’s a real talent, girl.
I had to laugh at #9…can I ask for that too?
December 9th, 2009 at 2:37 pm
That compost bucket is a GREAT idea actually! I would love it!
December 9th, 2009 at 2:49 pm
I have that mini processor and lovessss it!
What a great list. If I had a million dollars, I’d buy you all those things!
December 9th, 2009 at 2:53 pm
LMFAO about #9. You.Are.So.RIGHT!
We just use a bowl that is devoted to bio next to our sink. It isn’t as pretty as that thing, but I love the fact that I can stick it in the dishwasher after a couple of days. It can get quite nasty!
December 9th, 2009 at 3:23 pm
I didn’t know Reese and Jake split up! He is yummy!
December 9th, 2009 at 4:40 pm
Posts like this make my day. Seriously, I chucked when you got to Vanilla Sky….
I may or may not want an 11 cup food processor, so yours can be its baby
the perfect family…
December 9th, 2009 at 5:38 pm
Never seen Vanilla Sky- heck I think probably 11 years old when that came out. :/ But cheerrs to Jake, composting, coffeee maker, GLEEE, and TV host inspirations. (Um GIADA?!) There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about wanting to be her.
December 9th, 2009 at 6:17 pm
I have to disagree, you do NEED Jake – he’s a necessity
December 9th, 2009 at 6:26 pm
Awesome list Miss Holly! I would love an annual Bikram membership…Oh and i would love love love a little blue box!
December 9th, 2009 at 7:26 pm

And aww GLEE!! My mom’s newly obsessed (thanks to moi), so i really want to get her that soundtrack for christmas!
And OMG you deserve a DVR/tivo!!! Life-changing. My mom, dad & sorority house all have it….so you could say i’m a bit spoiled (but I still end up having to watch half my shows online, since the tv room is usually occupied) ! GET IT GET ITTTTT
….
