Table My Spoon

The lovely people over at My Blog Spark introduced me to another fabulous site…Tablespoon!

tablespoonIt is a new recipe Web site where you can share, save and find new recipes!  It combines kitchen-tested recipes with recipes submitted by the at-home cook.  Check it out…I am already drooling over the Apple Spice Muffins and Squash and Bean Soup.

You can also find some good coupons on there too :) .

To celebrate its launch, they sent me some fun goods…

CIMG6468

  • two pot holders
  • 1 set of stainless steel measuring spoons
  • 1 stainless steel measuring cup

The best part? They want to give one to you too!

Here’s what you need to do:

(1) Leave a comment telling me the last recipe you concocted.

(2) Link back on your blog, or if you don’t have a blog, leave a 2nd comment telling me something random about yourself.

You have until Sunday at noon to enter. The winner shall be announced Sunday night!

That’s it!  Happy spooning :) .

P.S. Stay tuned tomorrow for some pictures of the 17 inches of snow we got in Madison (yes, SEVENTEEN!), and perhaps my new favorite ice cream EVER!  Bold statement, I know…

…and, have you donated yet?

Last night, I made a kitchen sink stir fry. We were snowed in and I was NOT going to the store. I sauteed some firm tofu with carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, onion, green pepper, sweet potato, parsnip, and Brussels sprouts. Tossed it with a bit of teriyaki sauce and voila! Usually my kitchen sink creations go down the sink, but this time it was pretty decent. I probably would roast the sweet potato for a side dish next time, but it was already cut up into chunks so I figured I’d use it up.
