a philly good time

You know when you have such a magical time with friends, both new and old, discussing such vital, important topics like iPads, testicular cancer, 90’s boy bands, Sister Wives, finding happiness, marriage, the up (and down) sides of blogging, how nobody should ever wear an all-leather outfit, the importance of moms, tone-up Ugg boots, Whole Foods, summer plans and how two friends (*cough* Madeline + I *cough*) should probably live in the same city forever and ever that no amount of words can describe just how lovely of a time you’ve had?

Yeah, that’s me.

Shockingly, I’ve run out of words, which rarely ever happens so I just suggest you take advantage of this most rare phenomenon before I come back atcha next post, with words a-blazing.

So, I’ll just leave you with a photo montage of my time in Philadelphia with Madeline + Boots…

The tone-up Ugg boots were not ours.

I promise.

DC Part 1 (sneak peek)
DC Part 2 (the big race)
DC Part 3 (cupcake love)

Thoughts on any of the above topics? I am pretty sure I could go on for days about Sister Wives (polygamy is just crazy, I’m sorry), the importance of moms (shoutout to Mama E!) and tone-up Ugg boots (yeah, we saw those for real).

You’re a jayhawk fan? What?! Get out.

I want your french toast, your glasses, your hair, your skinny jeans and your spunk. Mostly the spunk.

I just adore you and your blog miss E.

I love Uggs. Even when it’s 78F in San Diego.

I love Madeline! I miss her soooo much! One day I hope to meet Boots. And you, her, me, in the same city. We can chat polygamy over a glass or three of vino :)

i’m going to philly tomorrow! sadly, i had plans with madeleine but i have to cancel b/c there’s too much going on…

Wait… they actually make tone-up Ugg boots?! I’m not sure what I think about those yet.

I agree and could talk about Whole Foods for the rest of time. But… am not sold on the statement that no one should wear an all leather outfit. Do cat suits count? Because I have a climbing friend who climbed in an all pleather cat suit for Halloween, and it was probably the best thing. EVER>

Did you really not eat a Philly Cheese? That might be against the city code…. just saying :)

Philly is the bestest, no?! Hometown representttt.

Do they really make tone-up Uggs?

What a fun slide show! I love the jumping picture action! Moms are totally important! I don’t know where I’d be without mine (which makes me feel a lot of pressure given the upcoming addition ;)). Hope you have a nice weekend

What excellent discussion topics! Let’s see…iPads? Possibly a good idea. 90s boy bands? Always a good idea. All-leather outfits? Never a good idea. I’m so glad you had such a wonderful time–your photos are gorgeous!

I’m from Philly and I do believe it is the best city in the world. Even though I love moving around a lot (hubby’s in the military), I dream of moving back to Philly someday. Best food, best people, best everything. I love it. I’m glad you loved it, too.

Oh me, oh my. I love your blog more and more all of the time. :D

i too have a mid-air-jump-oops-that’s-my-crotch picture. i blame it on my poor jumping skills… i’m more of a skipper, really.

philly is on my list of places to see, and now i want to even more! if only for that delicious and impressively alliterative french toast. also, thank you for not wearing toning uggs. i feel like we can still be friends because of that.

What has fashion become? We will make fun of ourselves for this in 20 years.
