What did YOU do this past Wednesday?

Brittany August 19, 2010 at 10:27 pm

If you’re in Colorado Springs for a few days, I would highly recommend hiking around Garden of the Gods! Such a gorgeous spot.

Lindsay @ Summit Sandwiches August 19, 2010 at 10:44 pm

You’re in the Springs? That’s where I’m from! I hope you enjoy it….like the poster above mentioned, I would definitely recommend a visit to Garden of the Gods for a little hike. It’s a beautiful area with a bunch of great trails. For food, you should definitely check out Poor Richard’s near Colorado College on Tejon St. It’s a funky little place with homemade pizza (you can choose spelt, whole wheat, or regular crust options), sandwiches, salads, and the best veggie burgers I’ve ever had in my life. I hope you enjoy your stay here! :)

Megan (Braise The Roof) August 19, 2010 at 10:47 pm

Great pictures! Did you get the ball away from the statue?? I’m rooting for you!

Chelsea (Chelsea's Chew and Run Fun) August 19, 2010 at 11:05 pm

Your family looks like a hoot. I love it!

Also, that pesto pizza made my taste buds cry with desire.

You’re in Colorado! I live in Denver…any chance you’re passing through? It’d be cool to meet up with you (I’m a pretty new reader & I love your attitude), but I know schedules can be tight.

Your Wednesday >my Wednesday…which was just bumming at home watching far too much trashy Bravo TV & doing massive amounts of laundry…oh but i had some veggielicious pizza for dinner as well :)

Katie August 20, 2010 at 12:51 pm

Yessssssss for my home state!! And you guys were definitely at Il Vicino for that yummy pizza. I’m in love with that place. In fact, that’s where Meeker asked my parents for permission for “my hand” in marriage. The pizza is pretty incredible, too. :-) Have funn!
