I’m Holly. I’m a 20-something Midwestern gal. And I like food. A lot.
Unfortunately for many years, I liked food a little too much. Food for me became a way of dealing with emotions I didn’t want to deal with. By the end of my sophomore year of college, I weighed more than 165 pounds. I was overweight, felt extremely uncomfortable in my body and knew I wasn’t living a healthy life. Most importantly, I wasn’t living up to my potential.
Through two years of trial and error, I found a balance that works for ME. It has helped me lose and keep off more than 25 pounds – ice cream, French toast, cheese curds and beer included. And on this blog of mine, you will see just how a curly-haired, slightly neurotic, label-hating gal like myself eats…exercises…writes…thinks…reads…deals…travels…and lives.
Major emphasis on the lives.
Feel free to contact me with any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also follow me on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr and YouTube. Or leave me a comment on this page.
I’ll respond, promise.
If those seven ways of contacting me don’t work for you, I would like to say I’d give you my cell phone number, but that’s just creepy.
