An Everythingtarian TV Debut

Soooo…this happened at 6:40am this morning.

That’s me, my new friend Rob Starbuck and a cooking demo on the Channel 3000 morning show.

The recipes featured in my very first TV appearance included Make-Your-Own Quinoa BowlsVegan Tropical Breakfast Bars and Pumpkin Molasses Cookies.

The best parts?

Somehow I managed to (a) hit all my prepared talking points (quinoa is a gluten-free, ancient Aztec grain filled with protein…dontcha know?), (b) get the hair gods to shine their perfectly coiffed light on me with a great hair day and (c) have a really fun time doing it.

Even though I said way too many “umms” and “kind ofs,” which I am…umm…kind of chalking up to nerves, they’ve asked me to come back again at the end of the month!

Watch out Rachael Ray…this Everythingtarian’s gunning for you, your Food Network show AND talk show.

Holly! Even though I’ve been out of the blog-o-sphere forever, I still check in regularly to your blog. You did a GREAT job on this bit, and I’d also like to throw in the fact that I’ve made the very quinoa recipe you featured. It IS easy and delicious when you’re on the go! Love ya!

Way to go on the TV debut! That’s so exciting and such a huge step in the biz :) I’d be so nervous to be on TV, but you nailed it!
