This weekend, I was in Boston!
I moderated a panel at the Healthy Living Summit all about leveraging your blog to get involved in your local community (email me if you want a copy of the Powerpoint presentation) and then proceeded to stuff my face with wine, pizza, J.P. Licks ice cream, milk chocolate + hazelnut cookies from Flour and burgers from Cambridge Common alongside my partner in crime, Teri.
I met a lot of bloggers.
Took a lot of pictures.
Laughed a lot at our hilarious Freedom Trail tour guide.
Meandered a lot around Boston.
Owe Reebok a lot for giving me pants when I had none (long story).
Drank a lot of local beer.
And ate a lot of delicious Thai food with Evan.
Now, I am in New York City and currently blogging from the Chobani headquarters in Manhatten. Um yeah, life doesn’t get any better than being surrounded with a full kitchen stocked with free Chobani Greek yogurt. Oh wait, yes it does…if only Jake Gyllenhaal were here.
Whew, I love traveling.

I’m so glad we got to spend some time together this weekend, dear. It was wonderful to catch up — if only we lived closer!
Enjoy your time in New York! If you want a side trip to upstate New York, you know where to find me. ;)
You know, I have met Jake before – he even put his arms around me for a pic. He came to UW-La Crosse for the John Kerry election. I’d consider you more lucky though – free Chobani? Hells yeah!
It was such a blast and a complete pleasure to meet you this weekend. And now I may be contacting you shortly about some possible design work! You are such an inspiration to me in so may ways. xoxo lots of love to you always!
Oh how I would love to go to HLS! Looks like it was a fabulous weekend :) I adore traveling and exploring new cities…
So very intrigued by the owing Reebok pants… I’m sure there’s quite the story behind that one!
So great meeting you this weekend! Sounds like we should have done the freedom trail…next time!
Long story short: you rock my world. Looove-ah you!
I am hearing so much about Chobani lately…their blogger outreach is working!
So wonderful to meet you (for the zillionth time!). And so glad you hit the essentials in Beantown (local beer + J.P. Licks).

My goal: HLS next year – all the recaps look like everyone had so much fun.
Wow- sounds and looks like a great trip so far! Enjoy the rest of it.
It was so nice meeting you this past weekend during the photo walk! Glad that you’re having a great time in NY and can’t wait to hear about your future travels!
Looks like you had a great time in Beantown. Chobani HQ looks fantastic, I’m totally using some of those combos from the menu
Whoa. Wait. We don’t get to hear the pants story?
I loved all the HLS recaps, but especially loved yours because you took some pictures outside the hotel—you captured some great moments out and about in the city! Love the street artist.
Loving your simple new site design!! I’m probably like one month late…but I STILL love it.
Glad you had a good time at HLS, makes me pumped for BLEND. :-) Hah, is that selfish or WHAT?
How fun! I live 20 miles from NYC–get Chobani to send me some love!
Tell the folks at Chiobani that you have converted me to their creamy Greek yogurt ways. Sounds like a blast, only wish I were there with you!
What a treat getting to spend the day with you! Come visit us again soon. :)

I loved your presentation at HLS! It was super helpful and has given me so many ideas about getting myself out there and making some connections in my local community! :)
Also, where is that pizza from? It looks awesome! I had a pretty stellar pizza in Boston at Figs – I definitely recommend that place if you ever make it to Boston again!
I am so glad that we were able to meet this weekend. You’re as awesome in person as on the internet. Clearly you got to see some of the best of Boston, which also makes me happy. It’s such a great city.

After seeing that everyone got a swanky new pair of really awesome looking shoes, it’s clear that Rebok does NOT mess around with swag. Helllz nah.

Sweet! I’m in Boston being trained for a new job, and though I haven’t had much time at all to explore the city, I HAVE been to JP Licks once or twice….YUM.
