Crazy is the operative word around these Everythingtarian parts lately.
If I am going to be honest with you dear readers, I am feeling a little behind on life. Quite frankly, my tired ol’ chocolate chip brown eyes gaze down at my ever-growing to-do list and ever-busy calendar, and I immediately want to do one of two things: (a) crawl in bed, sip bottle after bottle of kombucha and watch reruns of Glee on Hulu until I can no longer stand hearing their rendition of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing,” or (b) hop on a flight to Mexico, buy a taco stand and live out the rest of my days peddling Hispanic delicacies on the beach.
However, as appealing as both those options are, I am pretty sure starting a Mexican taco stand is complicated biznass and would only make my to-do list más grande. Plus, getting behind on blog stuff, cleaning and general life tasks probably just means I’m living my life in a big way, yo.
So, let’s not deny life, and the craziness that goes along with it.
Planning a Nutella-themed brunch featuring a spread including Nutella-Stuffed Brioche, Nutella Fondue, Nutella Crepes + Nutella Mochas for friends?
Gabbing with one of your best friends on the phone from London at 7:30am (or 2:30pm her time) to design her wedding website + discuss how we can make her big day even better and more of an international paparazzi sensation than William + Kate’s?
Running the Crazylegs 8K race for the second year in a row, this time untrained + with a horrible side cramp alongside Brett + Katherine (an Everythingtarian blog reader!) and still finishing the race in about 45 minutes?
Of course, the free beers post-race helped. A lot.
So did the Turkey Pesto Panini and oven-roasted potatoes.
Going on a date (yes, a date) and learning how to longboard in a mustard yellow corduroy skirt without flashing any random passerbyers?
Joining the Monkey Bar Gym 30-day challenge where it is suggested us participants workout eight times a week, eat vegan for the month and suffer through a juice fast in order to collect points and win the whole fitness shebang?
Yeah, it’s all a little crazy (especially that last one).
But let’s be real, that’s kind of how I like it.
