Foodbuzz Fest, day three

by Holly on November 11, 2010

in Foodbuzz Fest

As the English proverb goes, all good things must come to an end.

However, if good things coming to an end involves a delicious breakfast sponsored by Nature’s Pride at a festival for food-loving bloggers, then I guess I am okay with it.

Because there’s nothing better to soothe the soul when saying goodbye than a plateful of grapes, applewood smoked bacon, a biscuit sans gravy, cinnamon French toast, mini yog mess, vegan panzanella salad and a side of unlimited refills on coffee.

In the words of Lloyd Christmas, I hate goodbyes.

A special thank you to my roomies Susan, Janetha, Jay, Danica and Elise for putting up with my Everythingtarianess all weekend long as well as to ALL the fabulous bloggers I met over the course of the weekend.

Twas’ a blast of a time.

While I had to say goodbye to some fabulous people, the fun fortunately continued on as Suki, Susan and I had Sunday plans of the tourist variety.

And the jumping variety.

As well as The Golden Gate Bridge variety.

Not to mention the Kahlua Mud Pie + Pumpkin Pie ice cream variety.

How’s about of the mother nature variety?

Or the Full House house jumping variety?

Which includes the Holly’s belly is sticking out of her shirt variety.

I must not forget the Trader Joe’s variety.

And the Frog Hollow Farms pear variety.

Yes, all good things must come to an end.

And if they can come to an end with friends, food and fun in San Francisco, then all the better.

Good thing I wasn’t there for the jumping photos. I wouldn’t even have made it an inch off the ground. Short white girls can’t jump.

I miss quoting D&D with you. And making fun of you. And you making fun of me.

Oh wow, it was so great getting to meet you! Glad you had as good a time as I did!

I love everything about this post. Your pictures are freakin’ great! I miss the GG bridge… and the fog… and SF in general. You got some serious air in the Full House pic, or as i referred to that house as a child “the Michelle house”; okay i still refer to it as that today. Dumb and Dumber might be one of the best movies ever, the fact that you mentioned Floyd Christmas made my night. Triple stamped it, no erasies, torch blue make it true.

So, here’s the thing.

After having discovered your blog post-Foodbuzz Festival and after having met you for all of a way-too-short-but-decidedly-wonderful two minutes… I am officially upset that I didn’t hang out with you during Foodbuzz and am convinced that we need to be friends.

Expect lots of comments from me. :)
