Ever since I was a wee tyke, I have been obsessed with fun facts. Don’t know why…don’t know how…I just am.
In fact, I used to have an F.F.O.T.D. (Fun Fact of the Day, obvs) in my planner during high school. I am just thankful I don’t know where that planner is, because then I would be forced to show you actual evidence of the douche lord (refer to this post for a definition) I can be.
(That definitely was not the correct usage for the word ‘douche lord’ but I couldn’t help myself.)

Fun Fact: The oldest cookbook known is by Apicius, a Roman gourmet who lived somewhere between the 2nd century BC to the 1st century AD. In his cookbook, ‘Apicius de re Coquinaria,’ he has recipes for stuffed chicken, hare, pig, and even stuffed dormouse. Most of these early stuffings were made from vegetables, herbs, nuts and spelt. source

Fun Fact: I just did a 60-minute Dave Farmar yoga podcast, and it was my first workout in 8 days. Will. Be. Sore. Tomorrow.
Fun Fact: I almost forgot about my End of 2009 goals!
Sleep 8 hours a night (no more, no less), which means bed @ 10:30-11pm + up @ 6:30-7am.
I think I did relatively well at this – whatever I missed, I definitely made up for in the past three days!
Per the yoga challenge, 3 yoga sessions a week alongside 2-3 cardio sessions (at least 30 minutes).
Looking at my workout calendar, this one was a complete fail. December got crazy, what can I say?
Remind myself that saying “no” is okay.
I surprisingly did well at this one! Since things were so crazy this month, it helped force me to say ‘no’ to a lot of things. Check.
Take (up to) 30 minutes to clean my apartment daily (clean living space = clean mind).
Rocking this one out. My apartment has never looked so clean.
STICK TO MY BUDGET and stay away from Target!
Minus Christmas presents, I really did not spend a whole lot of money on anything. Plus, with the extra job, credit card #1 isthisclose to getting paid off, and I just went shopping today (reward :))!
Make weekly to-do GOAL lists as a reminder of things to get done.
To-do lists definitely helped me get through the month with my sanity intact. Check!
Keep my priorities straight: #1: FT job, #2 PT job, #3 family + friends (they are at #3 because most of them live outside Madison), #4 blogging.
Check! Working on some new projects at work, finishing up the seasonal job, got to see family + friends and still blogged (almost) regularly.
And finally, cut myself some slack.
Trust me…this has NOT been an issue this month :).
Alright…if you made it through this entire post, you totally deserve a major pat on the back. I would give you treats, but like I said, I spent a good chunk o’ change at the mall today and now could not afford to send treats out.
