Hello, Saturday

I had good intentions of being productive today.

I really did.

Check out my tweet at 10:44am if you don’t believe me.

But then somehow I ended up at Sam’s Club. The grocery store. The laundry room. I spent a lot of time reading blogs, drinking coffee and sitting in my stretchy sweatpants. Did I mention I didn’t even wake up until 10:00 this morning?

Let’s be real though, y’all don’t care about any of that.

You want one thing: the winner of the $50 shopping spree to iHerb.

Chosen by Random.org, the winner is Michelle, who said, “Oh my gosh, what a generous giveaway. If I won, I would definitely restock on coconut butter. I bought a jar a few weeks ago and it’s almost gone. That stuff is a-mazing.”

Congrats girl – you’ve got $50 to buy coconut butter to your hearts content! Send me your name, e-mail address and mailing address to healthyeverythingtarian@gmail.com.

Before I leave all you readers be, I should add I’ve spent quite a few hours in the kitchen today.

What came out of it may perhaps be the BEST recipe I’ve come up with so far…

That’s only a sneak peek, and I promise you the recipe I made isn’t quite what it seems.

Any guesses?

Brett February 12, 2011 at 5:17 pm

lynn @ the actor's diet February 12, 2011 at 6:49 pm

i have no clue what that is! at first i thought potato salad, but i think i see coconut on it, so it must be sweet?

Kaleigh February 12, 2011 at 6:50 pm

I don’t know what it is but it looks wonderful :)

Lauren February 12, 2011 at 7:14 pm

Oh my, whatever could that be? At first, I thought it was some kind of tuna salad but now I’m realizing I was SOOO wrong. Some kind of dessert that I want this second!

Erica D @ Gratitouille February 12, 2011 at 7:33 pm

Uh…some coconut butter concoction?

Amy B @ Second City Randomness February 12, 2011 at 7:41 pm

The super awesome huge stretchy pants? Dude… I’d call that one a win!

And just like you said- I’m sure it was a great saturday, but in no way like our epic 24 hours of balls 4 life!

Erica February 12, 2011 at 7:51 pm

Coconut ice cream? A weekend day in sweat pants sounds pretty jammin to me!

Averie (LoveVeggiesAndYoga) February 12, 2011 at 7:54 pm

coconut something?

“But then somehow I ended up at Sam’s Club. The grocery store. The laundry room. “–hello, that IS being super productive!!!!!!! that’s massive, on a saturday.

Whatever it is, it looks really good! And I’m sure it tasted even better! Love the snow pic. It’s so weird, the cherry trees are blooming here, and it’s warm enough to eat lunch outside… After 20 years of living in California, I still sometimes think that just isn’t right… But I’m not complaining either…

Charissa February 12, 2011 at 9:00 pm

Oh, I know exactly what you mean! The day so easily gets away from you….that’s why I write lists…lots of lists! They’re the only things that keep me on track!

Kate (What Kate is Cooking) February 12, 2011 at 11:27 pm

I see graham crackers… so I am definitely intrigued!

Laura @ Sprint 2 the Table February 13, 2011 at 12:06 am

caitlin February 13, 2011 at 12:25 am

hmm looks like a key-lime coconut dealybob contraption remake….close?

Kristie February 13, 2011 at 7:56 am

Well, either you were totally off about thinking none of us would get this (cuz I’m putting in a vote for a deconstructed key lime pie too) or we are all just too foodie for our own good ;).

Sarah (Running to Slow Things Down) February 13, 2011 at 8:11 am

I don’t really know what it is, but I would totally eat it…haha. :D

I had plans on being productive yesterday as well. Hmm…I honestly don’t know what happened. Thankfully, I’m feeling very motivated today and things are already starting to get done. :D

Ashley @ 365 things February 13, 2011 at 8:13 am
