Not this week at least. You give a girl a midnight bedtime FOUR days in a row, and things are bound to get ugly.
Breakfast was a PB+B quesadilla + Haralson apple eaten at 6:15am this morning while writing this morning’s blog post (from yesterday’s eats) and finishing up some freelance work. That’s what happens when you are exhausted and pass out in your bed due to one too many glasses of vino antioxidants.
To redeem myself, I decided I wasn’t going to mess around with lunch. Sunprint Cafe salad bar it was!
The mix contained:
- red onion
- 1 hard-boiled egg
- broccoli salad
- pico de gallo
- green peppers
- sunflower seeds
- cucumber yogurt dressing
Yeah that’s right. Don’t mess with me and my junk salads.
And DON’T mess with my carbs: all hail the Sun Bun!
That would be peppers, jack cheese, onion and spices in one heavenly hunk of deliciousness. I only wish it had been as big in real life as it looks in the picture. TWSS.
Snackage was another Haralson apple…
Twas’ another crazy day at work. Thankfully, this week shall be the last crazy one until at least 2010. I wouldn’t mess around about that.
Dinner was the requisite yog mess…
1 cup homemade Greek yog
1/4 cup Dylan’s Cranberry Walnut Chia granola
1 smashed naner
1 tbsp. Bee’s Knees PB
Thankfully, I actually did not need to stay at work super late and instead, my new workout bud Steph and I headed to a glorious 75-minute Power Yoga class. I am talking crescent lunges to airplanes to needle back to crescent followed by multiple flows. Needless to say, I am glowing in happiness right now. Our teacher Karen – she doesn’t mess around.
My vinyasa flow of happiness continued on my walk home where I caught up with Daddy Everythingtarian via the cell and proceeded to find this in my mailbox…
To top it off, she even had Miss Ava draw me a picture…
Grapes, lettuce, carrots and brownies – oh how well she knows me ;). I am pretty sure this is the cutest thing ever and is staying on my fridge permanently.
Thank you SO much Alison! You have know idea how much this brightened my chaotic, busy week!
Now, I am going to continue to not mess around by eating some Coconut Bliss, doing the dishes and getting to bed early. Tomorrow is Friday – THANK the sweet heavens above!
