If you do one thing this week…

in fun finds,giveaway

In this 21st century of busy schedules, advancing technology (ahem, social media anyone?) and a go, go, go attitude, there isn’t always enough time to do all the things we want.

In an ideal world, I would like to wash my hair more than twice this week.

And perhaps finish The Queen, which I’ve had on Netflix for more than two months but have yet to watch.

I would also like to catch up on So You Think You Can Dance. Since Alex got booted after perhaps the best routine ever, I’ve been seriously lagging behind.

But that is not here nor there.

I promise, I am getting to the point. My point being, if you do one thing this week, please take 15 minutes to go out and buy these…

Blue Diamond Oven Roasted Butter Toffee Almonds (!!!)

Seriously, they’re good enough to be DESSERT. For a dessert maven like myself, that’s a bold statement.

A bold statement I proudly stand by.

Almonds, sugar, brown sugar, corn maltodextrin, natural flavor (butter toffee), sea salt and rebiana (stevia extract) have never tasted so good.

Heck, I don’t even care what corn maltodextrin is.

They are so delicious, I promise you won’t either.

You may care if you won my Kroeger Herbs giveaway, and for one lucky person, I am happy to say I was able to make your dream come true this Labor Day Weekend.

Thanks for the giveaway, holly! I’d like to try the Healthy Gut, too because it says on the site that it helps with digestion. Sometimes I have serious issues with that!

Send me your mailing address, and I’ll make sure Kroeger Herbs gets your winner’s pack out right away!

Now excuse me, I need skip my shower to go buy more butter toffee almonds.

I’m currently out.

Those look delicious! They remind me of the spiced almonds you can get at Navy Pier in Chicago.

Its SO hard to stay on top of things right now- I totally feel the go go go too. I just want to sit down and relax for two seconds ;) The almonds sound fab

I think I could do without the “corn maltrodextrin” (I have no idea what that is), but they look good :)

Susan September 6, 2010 at 9:10 pm

Psst… you should totally throw those almonds in a food processor and make butter toffee almond butter. Just sayin’!!!

Leanne September 6, 2010 at 9:23 pm

The sugar cinnamon are the best and the dark chocolate! I’m going to have to try these.

Almonds are just too good. I can eat them by the massive handful and it’s one of the few things I really have a hard time keeping around…

I had some almonds very similar to those at Christmas… never again. They are more addictive than crack and I swear, of the 7 lbs I put on that Christmas, at least 5. lb were directly attibutable to those bloody nuts! x

THANKS!!! I’ve been thinking about a new snack for work this week, but couldn’t really grasp on an idea of what. I didn’t have any specific cravings. Now you gave me this idea – perfect. Thanks!

I can only imagine the deliciousness that those almonds would bring to my life. And… I bet they would be great crushed up on top of vanilla bean ice cream :)

The almonds sounds VERY DANGEROUS!!! I believe your post should come with a warning!!! I can see myself opening the container and eating and eating and eating… ;)

Sounds like you’ll be busy this week! Hope you are having fun! :)

WOOO HOOOO!? Just saw that I won!? Sweeett deal!! :))

Thanks, Holly!! Those almonds look amazing. I’m obsessed with the cocoa roasted ones, but since you have such fine taste, I’m going to have to try these now too! ;)

amanda September 7, 2010 at 7:55 pm

Kristen September 8, 2010 at 10:46 am

Precisely why I can’t buy things like that… I will eat the entire jar. Not that I have a problem with that… but my digestive system does. It just doesn’t understand. Rude. So rude.
