Good morning dudes and dudettes!
It looks as if the gorgeous weather the Midwest has gloriously been given these past couple days has faded. In its place, gray overcast clouds and a slight chilliness in the air. I guess Senor Invierno esta aqui, no? If you aren’t sure what that means, ask this girl.
Yesterday’s breakfast was epic. The Top Chef in me would like to call it Truffled Butternut Squash Oatmeal.
1/3 cup oats
2/3 cup organic skim milk
pinch of salt
1/3 cup organic butternut squash puree
1 tsp. pure maple syrup
cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice + ginger
1 Pumpkin Spice Truffle + 1 Gingerbread Truffle
Look at that steam fogging up the lens…gorgeous!
Thanks again to Miss Emily for that stellar package of goodies, which included those AMAZING truffles. The way they melted into the oatmeal…oh man, if I hadn’t been so busy scarfing it I would have taken a picture for you.

You can bet your bottom dollar the Black Cherry will be mine today. I have been eyeing that flavor for-ev-er…for-ev-er…for-ev-er…(name that movie).
