Well kids, this gal is about to hit the road up north to Wisconsin for some good ol’ fashioned family Turkey Day fun…

Oops! Wrong decade (that’s me 2nd from the right, BTW).

Ahhh, yes!  This is better!

CIMG4401

That would be Sissy #4, Sissy #3 and Sissy #2 (yours truly) and Mama Everythingtarian.  Sissy #1 and daddio are missing from this shot, although they shall be there and present come Thanksgiving Day tomorrow!

But before we devour all the delights that come along with this holiday, how’s about a giveaway?!?!

The lovely people at Campbells/V8 were so generous to send me this soup prize pack of fun…

CIMG6308

  • V8 Garden Vegetable Soup
  • pea pod pen
  • reusable bag
  • pedometer
  • journal

Fun stuff, right?

I haven’t tried the soup yet, but I couldn’t resist posting a pre-Thanksgiving giveaway…so here’s what you gotta do to win the exact same prize pack: Leave me a comment telling me your favorite Thanksgiving day food/dish!

Just do it by Sunday night midnight, and the winner shall be announced Monday morning. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! And just for the record, I am a stuffing girl through and through.

P.S. If you feel like being extra thankful this holiday, please help donate and build a well in Cambodia with me :)

I’ll give you two clues for my favorite Thanksgiving food.
1. involves delicious orange root vegetables
2. you cook then until they’re like candy
Have a great Thanksgiving!

The everythingtarian family is MAJOR CUTE!

I don’t celebrate thanksgiving, being European and all, but if I would, it would be pie WITHOUT A DOUBT!

My favorite thanksgiving day food for the past few years has been a stuffed Tofurky roast, yum!

Angharad (Eating for England) November 26, 2009 at 10:53 pm

Well hello! I am also a stuffing fan but I would have to say roasted potatoes or parsnips are my fave!
Hope you had a lovely one – I’m still so stuffed almost 6 hours on!

My favorite dish is the salad my uncle brings with field greens and fresh mozzerella and cranberries, but on the more traditional side I’d have to go with mashed potatoes (the lumpy kind with skins).
Mmm… Missed the salad this year though – to me it’s a thanksgiving dish.

My favorite Thanksgiving Day dish is hands down sweet potatoes….I don’t care what form they’re in…baked, casserole, whatever. They are my weakness! :)
