I just want to say thank you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my Everythingtarian heart for all the donations, publicity and prayers you’ve been sending for Haiti Medical Mission of Wisconsin, the nonprofit organization that Emily and I are raising money for this holiday season.
As of Christmas Eve today, we’re at more than $700. I can’t tell you how excited I am that we are nearly halfway to hitting our goal of $2,000! I know many of you are probably cash-strapped like myself this holiday season, but if you’re still looking for a group to give back to or a great organization to support, please consider Haiti Medical Mission of Wisconsin.
If you can, we would be honored if you would help donate if you haven’t already.
In Thiotte, the city in Haiti where this organization travels to, there are only TWO doctors for the 45,000 residents of the area. Compare that to the U.S. where we are afforded ONE doctor for every 400-500 people. All proceeds of this fundraiser will go directly to buying medical supplies for upcoming mission trips to Haiti in 2012, and donations are completely secure and private.

Thank you to all of you for reading my blog – I know how amazing this little community is and the power that comes when people truly get behind something they believe in.
From my family to yours, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
