winners, iHerb + another giveaway

in giveaway,rambling

Lately, I’ve been a really lucky gal.

Sometimes I get really dramatic and forget about this fact. Unfun things like PMS and writing deadlines are to blame for my lack of recollection, me thinks. But I am. Very, very, very much so. I have a good job with a fantastic boss + co-workers. Food companies deem me cool enough to send me free stuff. Jake Gyllenhaal is back on the market. I have a SUPER fun best friends weekend coming up in 8 days. Annnndddd I get paid again in 19 days.

But what am I most grateful for these days?

YOU {!!!}.

Yeah, you.

My readers.

I deem you the most intelligent, hilarious and best readers in all of blogland.

Don’t believe me?

Read the awesome responses of the ten lucky winners of an one-of-a-kind Everythingtarian bumper sticker (chosen by Random.org)…

mamaeverythingtarian “Sometimes I think…that some people spend too much time thinking and not enough time enjoying.

Caitlin “Sometimes I think reading your blog is the perfect cure for Madison homesickness. I have earrings made from Mexican pesos from the same lady :) She’s either in library mall or up at the Capitol on Farmer’s Market Saturdays selling her awesome wares.”

Michelle “Sometimes I think chocolate and peanut butter is the best food combination ever created.”

Kaleigh “Sometimes I think that I would like to eat an egg fried in butter for every meal of the day. In fact, that picture makes me want to go fry one up right now, in green socks of course.”

Brad “Sometimes I think I am the only male who reads food blogs.”

Kailey (Snackface) “Sometimes I think I love you, and then I realize that all the time I KNOW I love you!”

kimi “Sometimes I think I have the best freckles in the whole world. Like award winning freckles.”

Megan (Braise the Roof) “Sometimes I think that 1 degree weather is character building. And then I realize that it pretty much just sucks, and all the old retirees that move south for the winter are onto something.”

Kelly “Sometimes I think people can read my mind. Like when I see something that I like on their blog, and right before I am going to ask them where I can get it, they offer to give them away. (ahem. bumper sticker.)”

Denice “Sometimes I think it totally sucks to have a cold, but then I am kind of secretly happy that it makes me have a night at home with a great friend watching a perfect movie!”

Alright winners, send me an e-mail at healthyeverythingtarian@gmail.com with your name + address so I can send you your collector’s item Everythingtarian bumper sticker. Trust me, when I make it big, it’s going to be worth like $2.00.

It turns out I get luckier.

The lovely people over at iHerb offered me the chance to do some shopping free of charge on their online store, which is filled with an extensive array of natural products. Bath. Kitchen. Food. Cooking. Supplements. Homeopathy. Nut butters galore. You name it. They have it.

After spending more than an hour browsing their online store, I finally kicked myself in my indecisive butt and made my order. Less than a week later, Abby + the iHerb peeps had my goodies awaiting at my doorstep…

  • dry brush
  • organic chia seeds
  • Artisana Macadamia Nut Butter
  • Yogi detox tea

After seeing you use the Gomasio, now I want some! I would also go crazy with the Yogi teas (specifically Bedtime and Tahitian Vanilla), try some of the Nature’s Plus protein powder and maybe some Bob’s Red Mill goodness. iHerb has great prices!

Eden February 11, 2011 at 12:15 am

They sell that, right?

kim February 11, 2011 at 5:46 am

Lauren February 11, 2011 at 9:10 am

There’s so much to choose from I can’t decide, probably some coconut butter and maybe maca since I can’t seem to find them in any stores near me.

Jenny February 11, 2011 at 9:24 am

Ally (oatsandspice) February 11, 2011 at 7:27 pm

I think I would buy some maca powder – I have been reading so many posts lately about all the great uses for it (I have even bookmarked 6 recipes). It wasn’t too long ago when I didn’t even know what the stuff was :) I have been meaning to try it but haven’t had the chance (since I am a busy college student)… I hope I win the iHerb giftcard – that would make my day (or week for that matter)!

Kady February 11, 2011 at 8:31 pm

I would buy food that I don’t normally buy because I’m a poor grad student! Some LaraBars and almond butter sound good!

Cee February 11, 2011 at 9:05 pm

At the very least I am interested in the Ecco Bella products, particularly the Ecco Bella, The Paperback FlowerColor, Face Powder, Fair, .38 oz (11 g). I am allergic to all makeup, it seems like, and I have heard many good things about this company. But I might just have to spend it on several jars of the Artisana, 100% Organic Raw Coconut Butter, 16 oz (454 g)!!

Jessie February 11, 2011 at 9:19 pm

I want one of these dry brushes to combat stupid Colorado dryness! Also, nut butters. As if there was ever any question.

Amanda February 11, 2011 at 10:16 pm

Chia seeds! I could finally try them. Also dried blueberry’s and coconut butter.

Sarah February 12, 2011 at 10:41 am
