mmmmmmmm what a delicious weekend. I want the entire plate of fruit with just a lil chocolate please! We were in Savannah, GA this weekend. It was fabulous! I ate at Lady and Sons!

brandi May 8, 2011 at 4:46 pm

hello, nutella :) and ice cream!

yesterday, i went to the farmer’s market and grocery shopping. then i fell asleep on the couch with maggie at 9 pm. I am old.

today, we went to church, lunch, and took maggie to the park for an hour, just walking around the sunshine. we’re about to plant our strawberries, laundry is going, and bread is rising.

it’s been a good weekend :)

Gillian May 8, 2011 at 4:58 pm

We need an eating weekend. This looks so much better than juice.

Pure2raw twins May 8, 2011 at 5:06 pm

No words needed, looked like a perfect weekend!

Liz May 8, 2011 at 5:28 pm

Ice Cream from the union!! I grew up in Milwaukee and any road trip that my family took that involved driving past Madison always included an ice cream stop at the union. Great memories :) Sounds like a wonderful weekend!

Adam Deane May 8, 2011 at 5:33 pm

That kid behind the tree is the seriously the best photo I have seen in a long time! Your weekend looks beautiful!

VeggieGirl May 8, 2011 at 6:27 pm

Fun weekend! And I love your shoes :)

Susan May 8, 2011 at 6:30 pm

I spy many things I love. The vans, the “check it” hand signal, spring blooms, coffee, eggy dishes, and puppy!

Lauren May 8, 2011 at 6:53 pm

Once again, no words needed. Especially when you drizzle it all in chocolate. :)

Susan May 8, 2011 at 6:55 pm

1) I am loving your photography lately
2) I’m happy you got your cheeseburger
3) Having had lived off an IV drip for 40 hours once, I have a slight sense of what your fast was like. It’s something I would never, ever willingly put myself through.
4) I’ll be waiting patiently by the door tomorrow for Mr. FedEx with some nutella bread pudding ;)

Katie May 8, 2011 at 7:00 pm

What a picturesque weekend! Your photog skills are amazing.

I went to Babies R Us all day on Saturday, and then cleaned my house and visited my Mama today. Yay for weekends!

Karis' Kitchen May 8, 2011 at 7:37 pm

Ah, I’m so happy to see the chairs at the Union are out now! I missed them two weeks when I was in Madison :(

Looks like a great weekend – I love wordless posts.

BroccoliHut May 8, 2011 at 8:22 pm

Not gonna lie, this weekend was pretty lame-ski–I spent most of it studying for this last chem exam. However, I did manage to take Margot to her first farmers’ market outing!

Evan May 8, 2011 at 8:39 pm

Beyoootiful, Holly! I especially love the overhead shot of the table and the fruit platter.

Looks like a well-rounded, fun weekend.

My weekend was kind of quiet…getting ready for my sister’s graduation at Penn State next weekend. I made a bangin’ chocolate tart for Mother’s Day, took a hot yoga class, had dinner with a friend, and spent Sunday on our boat. Monday came too fast!

Kristie May 8, 2011 at 10:20 pm

Holla at sunny days and SOLID food. A smoothie is about the only non-chew meal I can handle… and even then I usually still want something to crunch and munch after one. It would take a LOT for me to be able to suck it up for a juice fast. Awesome that you figured out what really works best for you (food!) and rolled with it. Mmmm cheeseburgers, ice cream and chocolate drizzled fruit.

Brenna [fabuleuxdestin] May 9, 2011 at 2:47 am

Look at all that yummy fruit! and the beach! Where are you?

Averie (LoveVeggiesAndYoga) May 9, 2011 at 5:57 am

love these types of posts! the lake shot, the tulips, beautiful!

i worked, ran around like a nut, and just pretty much ran around like a nut :)

amanda May 9, 2011 at 6:53 am

all that food! gasp. you should have given me a holler. i would have gladly come over and help devour it all. not that you needed any help, i’m sure.

Kacy May 9, 2011 at 7:26 am

I want that Chow!! Unfortunately they’re one of the only dog breeds I’m severely allergic to. But they’re so gorgeous. Dream dog.
Looks like fun weekend love!

Madeline - Greens and Jeans May 9, 2011 at 7:39 am

That ice cream looks ALMOST as good as the ice cream we got at Franklin Fountain. Almost.

chloe @ 321delish May 9, 2011 at 8:40 am

I played outside. nuff saiiiiid!

ps: the small child big tree pic is great :)

Lili May 9, 2011 at 9:32 am

What kind of ice cream was that? Union Utopia?

Beth @ Beth's Journey to Thin May 9, 2011 at 9:33 am

Wow this looks like an incredible weekend!! Also, I absolutely LOVE your shoes in picture #1!

kathleen May 9, 2011 at 10:07 am

Mmm. Brunch spread. I haven’t had brunch since I left Boston 2 years ago. Something is wrong with that.

Megan (Braise the Roof) May 9, 2011 at 11:26 am

I love your photos, Holly. They make me want a big kid camera so badly! :)

Lauren http://theclimbingchef.blogspot.com/ May 9, 2011 at 11:27 am

It was my birthday so my food blog will be wordless too! :)

Tori (Fresh Fruition) May 9, 2011 at 11:57 am

Yum, chocolate-drizzled fruit! Looks delicious. Looks like your weather has been nice, too! I love warm spring days spent outside.

Vivianne May 9, 2011 at 11:58 am

That food looks so great! I love all the photos… so pretty. It makes me so sad that I just have my little sony digital camera… I want a big, fancy camera so badly!

I often have a ton of pictures in my posts… you know what they say, a picture says a thousand words! (;

Kate @ NaturaStride May 9, 2011 at 1:28 pm

Looks perfect!! I want to hear more about that burger!
My weekend was fabulous – got in a few good runs, went out to a BYOT(equila) restaurant with my husband, did some baking, and celebrated mother’s day with both my mom and my mother in law. It was excellent!

Heather @ Get Healthy with Heather May 9, 2011 at 1:50 pm

The pictures alone look fun!

Emily May 9, 2011 at 2:32 pm

Girl, you lasted SO much longer than I would have on that juice fast. Way to go, though! I love how you refuse to be defined by labels. A true flexi-everything-tarian ;)

I loooooooooooooooveeeeeee the doggie! My dog is part chow and I adore it. She has the best (black) tongue!xoxo

Jess May 9, 2011 at 8:52 pm

BEAUTIFUL photos!!

I..studied for a chemistry test. BOO.

Erica D @ Gratitouille May 9, 2011 at 11:57 pm
